18 Nov Four shoes you need this summer
Are you having trouble sorting out your summer shoes? Don’t worry, I’ve done the work for you!

1 ~ The slide. Everyone needs an easy on and off kick around shoe. Look for a slide which has arch support and a small heel. My favourite this season is the Rosa from Klouds footwear. Perfect for days at the beach.
2 ~ The comfortable sandal. I’m all about fashion but I’m also all about comfort. Milan is slim enough to wear with a skirt and comes in black, tan or a mix of both. Milan can also take an orthotic designed specifically for this shoe.

3 ~ The cheeky ballet flat. Wait, what. Did a Podiatrist just say you could wear a ballet flat? I absolutely did. And yes there is a catch. Rhodes by Revere Footwear is one of the only ballet flats you’ll hear me recommending. Don’t tell anyone, but Rhodes is actually a medical grade shoe with a removable plush and comfortable insole.

4 ~ The sports runner. If you are doing any exercise; even just half an hour of walking daily, then you need an appropriate sports shoe. My favourite at the moment is Saucony. Everyone is different so this is where you need to try a few different ones to see what you like. Stick to brands such as Asics, New Balance, Mizuno, Brooks, Saucony. Did you notice that I didn’t mention Nike’s in there? Good, just checking.

The Foot Studio has a new range of summer shoes to check out. If you aren’t sure of what shoes suit your foot type, activity and style then book a consultation today. I don’t wear ugly shoes and I don’t expect my friends, family or clients to either.
