Beauty & Relaxation

Time out for your feet and hands.

Podiatry for skin and nail concerns, and a nail hub for relaxing manicures and pedicures, side by side in Claremont.

Which one should I book?

Book podiatry if

Something hurts or looks wrong (ingrown, thick, fungal or discoloured nails, corns, cracked heels, warts), or you have diabetes, poor circulation or another health condition affecting your feet.

Book the nail hub if

Your feet and hands are healthy and you’d like a relaxing manicure or pedicure.

Not sure? Book podiatry first. If all is well, we’ll point you across the hall.

Where podiatry and nail therapy meet

Our in-house nail hub sits directly opposite our podiatry rooms, where podiatry and nail therapy meet. Our nail therapists work alongside our podiatrists to offer podiatry-designed manicures and pedicures, all held to podiatry level clinical infection control standards.

If you have something that needs treating, like a thick or painful nail, or you want Keryflex or Onyfix, that’s podiatry. If you just want a relaxing experience with no underlying concerns, the nail hub is your place.

Polish that’s kinder to your nails

We don’t use traditional gels, as they can weaken the nail and often need harsh removal. Instead, our nail hub uses Dazzle Dry: a quick-drying, four-step polish system with a long-lasting, glossy finish, no UV lamp and no harsh removal.

Frequently asked questions.

When should I see a podiatrist instead of the nail hub?

If you’re experiencing any discomfort, ingrown nails, dry or cracked skin, thick or painful nails, or any other foot concern, that’s podiatry. If you just want a relaxing treatment in a clean, professional environment with no underlying concerns, that’s our nail hub and nail therapists.

What’s the difference between a podiatry skin and nail treatment and a nail hub pedicure?

A podiatry treatment starts with a clinical assessment, checking things like circulation, nerve function and skin health, so any changes get picked up early, not just treated on the surface. A nail hub pedicure is about relaxation, in a clean, professional environment, without that clinical check.

I have diabetes or poor circulation. Can I book the nail hub?

Please book with a podiatrist. Diabetes, poor circulation, reduced feeling in your feet or blood-thinning medication all mean your feet need a clinical check first. Your podiatrist can let you know if a nail hub treatment is suitable for you afterwards.

Is the nail hub only for people with foot problems?

No. The nail hub is for anyone who wants a relaxing manicure or pedicure in a clean, professional environment. You don’t need a foot concern to visit.

Do you do manicures?

Yes. Our nail hub offers manicures as well as pedicures, and you can book both together as a Hands & Feet treatment.

What if I start a treatment and the nail therapist notices something that needs a podiatrist?

If your nail therapist notices something on your nails or feet that looks a little different, they’ll ask one of our podiatrists to take a quick look during your visit. Our nail hub sits directly opposite our podiatry rooms, so it’s quick and easy, and means you get the right care.

Do you use gel polish?

We don’t use traditional gels, as they can weaken the nail and often need harsh removal. Instead we use Dazzle Dry, a quick-drying polish system that gives a beautiful, long-lasting finish and is kinder to your natural nails.

What if my nails show signs of infection?

To protect everyone’s nail health, we ask clients with signs of infection to use their own Dazzle Dry base coat, which you can keep with us for next time or take home. You can also choose our Nurture treatment without polish. If you’d like the infection looked at, our podiatrists can help.

What is a paraffin wax treatment?

Paraffin wax uses gentle warmth to deeply hydrate your skin and help moisturisers absorb, leaving your hands or feet beautifully soft. It’s especially lovely for tired, stiff hands and feet on cooler days.

Your hands or feet are wrapped in warm wax and left to rest for about 15 minutes, then the wax peels away. It can be added to any manicure or pedicure. Paraffin isn’t suitable if you have broken or irritated skin, an open wound, poor circulation or reduced feeling in your feet, so please let us know before your treatment.

Do you cut cuticles?

We look after them rather than cut them. Cuticles are a natural barrier that stops bacteria and fungi getting into the nail, so we gently push them back if needed and hydrate them with cuticle oil. At home, a little cuticle oil massaged into each cuticle helps keep them soft and healthy.

How can I look after my feet between treatments?

Wash your feet in the shower with a low pH body wash, which supports your skin’s natural, slightly acidic balance. A long-handled scrubbing brush makes it easier to reach your feet and gently exfoliate. At night, apply a urea-based cream to keep skin smooth and help prevent dryness and cracks. Your nail therapist can talk you through the products we recommend.

Can I rebook while I’m there?

Yes. Your nail therapist can book your next treatment while your polish is drying.

Do I need an appointment for the nail hub?

Yes, you can book online or by phone.

Are your instruments sterilised between clients?

Yes. Instruments go through the same rigorous sterilisation and reprocessing process used across the clinic, and hygiene standards are maintained throughout.

Can I book a podiatry appointment and a nail hub treatment on the same visit?

Yes. This is our Part 2 option, a nail hub treatment straight after your podiatry appointment. Please phone us on (08) 9280 0223 to book it.

Do you take group bookings for weddings or special occasions?

Yes. Please phone us on (08) 9280 0223 to arrange a group booking.
